In case you want to stick around longer to learn more about me, here is my short story: I was born and raised in a little town North of Pittsburgh, PA called Mars. I graduated from Penn State with Early Childhood and Elementary Education degrees. My wife, Jen, and I chose to move and teach in Stafford County because of the caliber of schools and the incredible educators we were fortunate enough to meet. After teaching fourth and fifth grades, I assumed the position of Assistant Principal at Margaret Brent Elementary School. I had the privilege of opening this brand new school and helping Mrs. Dottie Truslow forge a new school community that supported the kids of Margaret Brent. After serving Margaret Brent for five years, I had the incredible opportunity to come to the best school in Virginia and I have been here ever since. Over the past thirteen years, I have watched children grow from preschoolers to high school graduates! I have seen Conway students come back as successful leaders and we have even hired a few of them to be teachers or staff members here! And one of the biggest joys of my life has been to have my own two sons grow up here at Conway. To say that It is a true honor and privilege to serve this great community is an understatement. I will always consider it one of my greatest life blessings to have called Conway home.
On behalf of every educator here at Conway, we thank you for allowing us the opportunity to serve your family. We recognize the enormity of your trust and the incredible responsibility that you have bestowed upon us. Please know, we have and will continue to give our hearts, souls, minds, and energy to caring for and educating your children and helping them become leaders of their lives. As always, if we can ever be of any assistance, please do not hesitate to call me at 361-1455 or email me at rayboldws@staffordschools.net.
Much Love,
JR :)
P.S. Please take a moment to see what I believe makes Conway so special and what I strive for everyday in our Cougarland.

Krystyne Meyer, Assistant Principal
Dear Conway Cougars,
I am thrilled to join Conway Elementary School as your new Assistant Principal! After spending 20 wonderful years with Team Stafford, I can’t wait to bring my passion and experience to our amazing community.
I started my journey as an itinerant teacher and then became a special education teacher right here at Conway. Most recently, I served as the Special Education Department Chair at Rising Star Early Childhood Center. My goal has always been to create inclusive learning environments where every student, regardless of their abilities, can engage in intentional and meaningful experiences.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing from the College of New Jersey and my Master of Arts in Deaf Education from Gallaudet University. I was honored to be recognized as Teacher of the Year at Conway Elementary in 2022, which only fueled my commitment to our students and community.
I’m excited to work alongside our incredible staff, students, and families to make this school year the best one yet. Let’s show our Conway spirit and make wonderful memories together! Go Cougars!
Warm regards,
Ms. Krystyne Meyer

Hello Conway Cougars!
I have loved every moment of being part of the Conway community and am thrilled to be returning for my third year as Assistant Principal for the 2024-25 school year!
I started my career studying Special Education at Penn State University. After graduation, my first teaching job was as a Special Educator in Prince William County; first as an LD teacher, then as a teacher for students with Autism. After five years in the classroom, I moved to central office in PWCS as a Behavior Specialist. In 2018 I started working for Stafford County Public Schools as the county’s first Behavior Analyst. I spent four years traveling to schools across SCPS assisting staff and teams to make data-driven decisions to teach students that had a greater need for behavioral support. Along the way I earned a Master’s Degree in Special Education, as well as one Graduate Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis and one in Educational Planning, Policy, and Leadership. I have been a Licensed Behavior Analyst since 2017 and have a passion for applying the science of behavior to everything I do.
On a more personal note, I grew up just north of Pittsburgh, PA. My husband, Kyle, and I have two young children; one here at Conway and one who will walk these halls in a few years. With any free time I might get, I enjoy spending time with my family, listening to podcasts, working out, and going for walks with my two dogs.
I believe that the partnership between home and school is critically important, and together we can teach children to become leaders of their lives. Please know that my door is always open and I welcome your conversation and collaboration throughout the school year. I look forward to meeting you soon!
We are… Conway #OneFamily!
